Research Experience

  1. Actively involved in the speciality of Gastroenterology at the School of Digestive and Liver Disease, IPGME&R and SSKM Hospital for the last 20 years.I do participate in teaching MD and DM students relating to various gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic disorder
  2. I do and teach routine and difficult Endoscopic procedures both diagnostic and therapeutic to DM students
  3. I am the guide of the DM Dessertation since 2004 and examiner of DM Final examination for the last 3years.
  4. Ongoing research activity - 
    1. Patient posture and ileal intubation during colonoscopy (a randomized controlled open label trial)
    2. Short course therapy of Anti-Tubercular drugs in GI Tuberculosis.
    3. Efficacy of Argon Plasma coagulation in symptomatic chronic Radiation Proctitis patients.
